Features
Accounting, invoicing, and GST tools in one place
This page is for the person doing the actual work: entering the receipts, chasing the unpaid invoices, getting the numbers ready for filing. Nexquado groups its features the way that work happens, not as a marketing list. Read the sections that match your current problem and skip the rest.
How to read this page
Five areas, in the order the work arrives
Most teams start with bank feeds because that is where the raw entries come from, then move to invoicing and GST once the ledger is steady. Reporting and permissions tend to come later, when a director, a bank, or a second company enters the picture. Nothing below is locked behind a plan tier you have to guess at: the sections describe what each tool does, what you prepare, and where a person still makes the call.
If something here raises a question about your specific setup, the contact form on the Contact page reaches our Singapore team, and the office line is printed at the bottom of this page for anything time-sensitive.
Recording transactions
Recording transactions without retyping
Bank feeds and statement import are the front door for most entries. You upload a CSV from your bank or connect the account, and Nexquado proposes a category for each line based on what you have done before. You confirm or correct, and the entry posts.
What you prepare
A bank statement export, or your online banking login for the feed. Recurring items such as office rent or a software subscription are set once and generated on schedule.
- Feed Connected bank account pulls new lines automatically each day, with the proposal waiting for your confirmation rather than posting blind.
- Import CSV upload for banks without a live feed, mapped once to your chart of accounts and reused on the next statement.
- Recurring Rent, subscriptions and loan instalments generate on schedule, so a high volume of small expenses stops eating an afternoon.
- Flag Anything you are unsure about can be flagged for your accountant instead of guessed at, with the question attached to the line.
Invoicing
Invoicing that matches how you get paid
Create an invoice, add your GST where applicable, and send it as a PDF by email from the platform. Payment terms, due dates, and late-payment notes are set per customer or as a default, so a repeat client does not need the same details typed again.
Part payments are handled as they arrive, so a customer paying a deposit against a larger job does not require a workaround. The system tracks what is still outstanding and shows you an aged list of receivables, which is usually the fastest way to see who needs a reminder call.
Per customer
Terms, currency, GST treatment and a default late-payment note saved against the client record.
Per invoice
Deposit requested, balance due date, and a PDF copy filed against the transaction for later reference.
Aged receivables
Open balances grouped by how long they have been unpaid, drillable down to the individual invoice and its payment history.
GST reporting
GST reporting for Singapore-registered companies
If your company is GST-registered, Nexquado keeps the tax treatment attached to each transaction. Standard-rated, zero-rated, exempt, and out-of-scope entries land in the right box on the report without a separate reconciliation step at quarter end.
- Treatment The tax code stays on the transaction from the moment it posts, so a re-coded line does not silently move between boxes.
- Period Choose the filing period you need; the report is produced for that window rather than a fixed calendar quarter.
- Drill-down Open any total and see the individual transactions behind it. That is what your tax agent asks for when a figure needs explaining.
- Handoff Share the period with your agent in one export, which saves the usual back-and-forth of re-exporting revised figures.
Reporting
Reports your bank and your board can read
Profit and loss, balance sheet, and cash flow statements are standard outputs, available for any date range rather than locked to preset periods. Comparative views let you put this quarter beside the last one without rebuilding the report.
For directors signing off on accounts, the balance sheet and supporting schedules can be exported as a pack. If you are applying for a loan or a grant, having current statements ready is often the slowest part of the application; here it is a download.
Statements on demand
Pick any start and end date. Nothing is stuck inside a month you cannot reopen.
Comparatives
Set one period against another side by side, so a movement is visible without a spreadsheet.
Director pack
Balance sheet with supporting schedules exported together for sign-off or filing records.
Loan-ready output
Current statements downloaded in the format a bank or grant reviewer asks you to submit.
Permissions and multi-entity
Permissions, audit trail, and multi-entity setups
Every entry records its author and timestamp. Edits to a posted transaction are logged rather than overwriting the original, so the history of a figure is visible rather than reconstructed from memory.
Companies running more than one entity, such as a trading company and a holding company, can keep separate sets of books under one login and switch between them. Access is granted per entity, so a staff member working on one company's payables does not see the other's ledger.
Author
Who entered the line and when, kept on the record rather than in an email thread.
Edit history
A change to a posted transaction is added as a logged revision, so the original figure stays recoverable.
Per-entity access
Grant a colleague rights on one company's books only, and keep the other entity's ledger out of their view.
Common questions
Questions we get before a trial starts
Short answers to the points that usually decide whether the tool fits your setup. If yours is not here, the contact form on the Contact page reaches our Singapore team during office hours.
Does my company need to be GST-registered to use the GST report?
No. If you are not GST-registered, the GST report simply has nothing to file; the ledger, invoicing and reporting tools still work. The tax treatment field becomes relevant when your registration takes effect, and you can start tagging transactions at that point.
Can I bring in entries from my current accounting file?
Statement import accepts a CSV export, which covers most banks here. Historical opening balances are entered once so the first set of statements you produce is comparable with what came before. If your chart of accounts differs from the default, mapping it takes a session rather than a project.
What happens to an entry after I confirm it?
It posts to the ledger with your name and the time attached. If you later change a posted line, the original is kept and the revision is added on top, so anyone reviewing the accounts can see what moved and when.
Can my accountant work inside Nexquado?
Yes. Access is granted per entity, so an external accountant can be given rights on the company they handle without seeing any other set of books under the same login. They can drill into a total, pull the transactions behind it, and export the period themselves.
Where do I get help if a figure looks wrong?
Start with the drill-down on the total: it usually shows the transaction that caused the movement. If it does not, send the question through the contact form on the Contact page, or call the office line below during Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM SGT.
