Support and onboarding for Nexquado users
Most questions about accounting software are practical: how do I import last year's opening balances, why is this GST line zero, can I undo a posted invoice. This page explains how to get those answered, and how to get set up in the first place.
Support is handled by our team in Singapore during business hours, with email monitored outside them.
Getting started
Getting started without a long setup project
A new Nexquado account starts with a short setup sequence: company details, GST registration status, financial year dates, and opening balances. If you are migrating from another system, the opening balance entry is the step that causes the most hesitation, so we have a guide that walks through it with the account mapping.
For companies moving from a desktop file, we can review your chart of accounts before you import, which prevents the duplicate-account mess that shows up a month later. This review is included for Business and Growth plans.
Read the setup guide
The setup sequence follows the same order as your filing: company details, then GST status, then the financial year dates, then the balances that carry forward.
- Company
- Registered name, UEN, and the address that appears on invoices you issue.
- GST
- Whether you are GST-registered, and the period you file on. This drives the GST lines on every invoice afterwards.
- Year
- Financial year start and end dates, so reports close on the right day instead of the calendar year.
- Balances
- Opening balances per account, imported from our template or entered by hand if the list is short.
Reaching a person
Reaching a person
Phone support runs during Singapore business hours and is the fastest route for anything blocking your work, such as a report that will not balance before a filing deadline. Email suits questions that need a written answer or a screenshot.
When you contact us, include your company name and the report or screen you are looking at. That is usually enough for us to reproduce the issue rather than exchange several messages establishing what you already tried.
Guides, templates, and common answers
Written documentation covers the tasks people search for most: recording GST on a mixed invoice, matching a bank line to an existing entry, running a year-end close, and adding a user with limited permissions. Each guide uses a worked example with Singapore-relevant figures.
We also publish a starter chart of accounts and an opening balance template. These are optional, but using them reduces the corrections needed after your first GST period.
- GST
- Recording GST on a mixed invoice, and reading the GST report before you file.
- Bank
- Matching an imported bank line to an entry that already exists, instead of creating a duplicate.
- Close
- Running a year-end close: locking the period, checking retained earnings, and keeping an audit trail.
- Users
- Adding a colleague with limited permissions, so they can raise invoices without touching the ledger.

If more than one person will use the account, a short walkthrough for your team saves time later. We run these remotely and tailor them to your roles: who invoices, who approves, who reviews before filing.
For companies with multiple entities, we can set up the structure with you so that access and reporting are right from the first month rather than retrofitted. Book this through the contact form and mention your entity count.

Review
Reading the reports your accountant asks for before the GST period closes, not after.
Sessions run remotely and are scheduled around your filing calendar, so nobody sits through a walkthrough of a screen they will never open.
Questions we are asked most
What are your support hours?
Phone support operates during Singapore business hours on weekdays. Email is monitored outside those hours, and urgent issues affecting a filing deadline are prioritised.
Do you help migrate data from my old software?
We provide import templates and a chart-of-accounts review. Business and Growth plans include help with opening balances; on Starter, the written guides cover the same steps.
Is support included in every plan?
Yes. Email and phone support are part of all three plans. There is no separate support contract or paid priority tier.
Still stuck on something specific? Send the company name and the screen you are on through the contact form, and the team picks it up from there.
